HOUSTON DISASTER RELIEF
Sat, Sep 2, 2017 - 9:00AM - 2:00PM 10440 Hancock Farm Place, La Plata
A fellow member of our Local Union, Brother Jimmy Howard's brother in law and cousin are in Houston on their boat rescuing and working with the Fire Department helping people that were affected by the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey and subsequent rainfall. Jimmy’s parents are on their way to Maryland and are planning to return home to Houston as soon as possible. When they do return home, their plan is to rent a U-Haul and take any/all supplies they can gather with them to deliver them to the Crosby Fire Department, so that the supplies can be distributed to the communities displaced/affected by the flooding.
If you wish to help, by donating supplies to the families that were affected by this disaster, please bring them to the Hancock Family Farms located at 10440 Hancock Farm Place, La Plata MD 20646 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 2nd. If it is more convenient for you to deliver those items to the Union Hall, we will make sure that they are delivered to the aforementioned location on Saturday.
