Inclement Weather

Our current inclement weather policy is as follows: Please listen to WTOP to hear if school is closed. You can listen to WTOP by tuning in to 103.5 FM or 103.9 FM. You may also visit their website at WTOPNews.com to see if the school is closed. School closing will also be listed on News Channel 8 on WJLA ABC 7. Further, we will attempt to post it on our website (Steamfitters-602.org) under the “apprenticeship” category. Please do not call the school about inclement weather until after 1:00 pm.

Special Called Meeting Notice

There will be a Special Called Meeting, to be held on Monday, October 25, 2010, at Martin's Crosswinds, 7400 Gateway Center Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770 at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a ratification vote on the contract and, if ratified, allocate the first year increase of $1.25. Note: $.75 has been allocated to the Pension Fund per the tentative agreeement. Details of the proposed contract will be mailed to all members.
