Steamfitters UA Local #602 represents the Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, who work in the Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Process Piping Industry in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

We are pleased to welcome you to our website and hope you will take the time to browse through it and learn about the many advantages and benefits of being a member of our Local Union. Our members have installed, repaired and maintained heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and process piping systems in the Nation’s Capital and its surrounding areas for over 100 Years. We have provided and continue to provide these services in a variety of different Buildings and/or Facilities across the Metropolitan Area.

Maryland State Senate Hearing for SB 0490 “Right to Work”
Wed, Feb 22, 2017 - 1:00pm at 11 Bladen St., Annapolis, Maryland

There will be a hearing before the Finance Committee in the Maryland State Senate on Wednesday February 22nd at 1:00pm for Senate Bill 0490 “Right to Work” and we are asking for your support to help prevent this Legislation from becoming Law.

We are asking that volunteers accompany us to the Miller Senate Office Building on the 22nd to show our representatives that we are in opposition to the is Bill becoming Law. If you are able to attend the hearing in person, we will be meeting at the Union Hall at 11:30am to carpool to the hearing or you can meet us at the Miller Senate Office Building, which is located at 11 Bladen St., Annapolis, Maryland in the Finance Committee hearing room. We are also asking that those who attend wear clothing that displays the Local 602 Logo. If you do not have a shirt or article of clothing that does, please notify one of the officers, so that we can provide one for you.

If you are unable to attend the hearing in person, please take the time to contact your personal representatives via telephone phone or email to share your opinion on with them in relation to this Bill.
