Apprenticeship - School Policies and Procedures
Annual Schedule
The
school year begins the 3rd week in August and runs through the 1st week
in May. Classes are held from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm during the school year.
For First, Second and Third year apprentices, there are also Saturday
classes from the 1st Saturday in November to the 1st Saturday in April.
Saturday classes are held from either 7:00 am to 11:00 am or from 11:00
am to 3:00 pm.
Scholastic requirements:
A 75%
grade is necessary to pass all classes.
Attendance policy:
If a
student misses two classes, he or she receives a warning. If a third
night is missed, the student must appear before the Apprenticeship
Committee. Five missed classes will result in automatic termination.
